Almost all trains from Bergen head to Oslo. There are, however, those who might only go part of the distance to Voss or Myrdal. You can easily find your train at the train station since there are only a few platforms.

When arriving in Bergen, you will find that the majority of hotels are located within walking distance of the train station. Bus service is available to Bergen Airport and other central locations in Bergen, as well as the Bybanen and the Airport shuttle bus. Taxis can be caught at the right-hand exit.

Bergen Railway Station operates the only train service in Bergen and is the departure point for the Bergensbanen train that runs from a station in Bergen to Oslo via Voss and Myrdal (with connections to the Flam Railway) as well as several trips to see the famous fjords. While waiting for your train at Bergen Railroad, you can enjoy one of the many cafes and kiosks. A luggage storage facility is available if you wish to leave your suitcase and explore the city. Credit cards are accepted for all three types of lockers. There are large lockers large enough to fit three suitcases as well as ski lockers. Depending on the size, the rental price is between NOK 30 and NOK 60 per day.

Please be aware that your luggage gets placed in a luggage room if you leave it in the baggage room for more than 7 days. Moreover, the station offers free wireless internet access, toilets, and comfortable waiting areas.
